Linkedskills is recruiting a Site Surveyor/Setting-Out Engineer for a permanent role supporting a water infrastructure project with an established civil engineering contractor in Co. Wexford.
Working closely with the project management and site teams, you will support accurate setting out, surveying and technical record-keeping, helping ensure construction works meet project drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out site surveys and setting out for water infrastructure and associated civil works.

Establish and check survey control points, coordinates, levels and alignments.

Interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies and raising technical queries with the project team.

Check the position, line and level of works during construction.

Maintain accurate survey records and prepare as-built information.

Provide setting-out information and technical support to site supervisors, crews and subcontractors.

Work with the Project Manager and site team to resolve technical issues and coordinate planned activities.

Support quality inspections and maintain clear records of completed works.

Follow site health and safety procedures and relevant Risk Assessment Method Statements.
Experience & Skills
-
Relevant experience within the Irish civil engineering sector.

Practical experience in site surveying and setting out.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Competence using surveying equipment and associated software.

Strong accuracy, attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with site teams.
-
Water infrastructure experience would be an advantage.
Location & Availability

Candidates must currently reside in Ireland and have the right to work in Ireland.

Must live within commuting distance of the project in Co. Wexford.

Notice period must not exceed five weeks, subject to the required start date.
