Looking for a permanent driving role with limited weekend work and a team that takes safety seriously?
Linkedskills is recruiting two ADR-qualified Artic Drivers for an established chemical logistics business. Based in North Dublin, you’ll complete nationwide deliveries with carefully planned routes, achievable schedules and support as you settle in.
What’s on offer
- Annual package of approximately €51,000, including basic salary, qualifying subsistence and compliance bonus.
- €20 daily compliance bonus, subject to the required standards.
- Daily subsistence of €16.95 or €40.67, depending on qualifying working hours.
- Additional payments for chemical and oil pump-in duties, with training provided.
- Approximately 40 hours per week on average, with limited weekend work.
- Paid overtime for Saturday or bank holiday work when required.
- Five-day induction alongside the Fleet Manager, introducing you to the customers, products and procedures.
The role
You’ll deliver a range of ADR goods to customers nationwide, completing multi-drop routes and occasional groupage pallet collections on your return journey.
Start times vary by route, with some departures from 6am. Trailers are normally loaded and secured the previous evening, so you're responsible for thorough vehicle, trailer, and load checks before departure.
You’ll also maintain accurate delivery paperwork, stay in contact with the Transport Desk and follow ADR safety procedures, driving hours and rest requirements.
About you
You’re a dependable driver who takes pride in safe deliveries, a well-kept vehicle and professional customer service. You’ll need:
- A current, valid ADR card.
- A valid, clean Category CE licence.
- Up-to-date Driver CPC and a valid digital tachograph card.
- Relevant Artic driving and hazardous goods experience.
- Confidence with multidrop work and flexibility around start times.
